Restrictions were eased for Victoria from midnight, Thursday 21st October.

However, advice from the Victorian State Government indicates that the following visitor restrictions still apply to aged care facilities:

• Visitors are permitted into aged care settings for end-of-life reasons and permitted purposes only.

Consideration will be given for any requests for visitation outside these guidelines, exemptions continue to apply.

Resident outings

Residents are free to leave the facility, just as any Victorian is able to leave their home.

If you leave the facility, you will be reminded that you must comply with the same public health directions that all Victorians are required to comply too.

Residents will be screened upon return. There are no restrictions on the reasons to leave home, but staying COVIDSafe remains important.
